Winter Break 2020 ... February 17 - 21, 2020
Students in Grades K - 6 performing Disney's "The Aristocats"
at The Bruce Music Academy, 75 Stutson Street, Rochester, NY
Monday - Friday, 9 am - 3 pm, February 17 - 21, 2020
Performance: Friday February 21. 2020 at 6:30 pm
Tuition: $200
Directed by Cara D'Emanuele (see "Biography" and "Directing Resume") with assistance from experienced, passionate high school interns
Join Cara D'Emanuele Studios in presenting Disney's "The Aristocats" during Winter Break 2020. For 5 days students will rehearse for an end-of-program performance of Disney's "The Aristocats", complete with auditions, vocal, acting and dance rehearsals, costume fittings and make-up sessions. Students will learn professional theatre vocabulary and etiquette, backstage and on-stage expectations and how a show is created combining a myriad of artistic and visual elements. In this non-competitive, supportive environment, each student will be guided in their own 5-day journey as they grow as individuals and as a cast/company. Students will all levels of skill and experience are welcome!
"The Aristocats" ...
In the heart of Paris, a kind and eccentric millionairess wills her entire estate to Duchess, her high-society cat, and her three little kittens. Laughs and adventure ensue as the greedy, bumbling butler pulls off the ultimate catnap caper. Now it's up to the rough-and-tumble alley cat, Thomas O'Malley, and his band of swingin' jazz cats to save the day.

"101 Dalmations" ...
Based on the classic animated film, "101 Dalmations" is a fur-raising adventure featuring Cruella De Vil, Disney's most outrageous villain, and 101 of the most adorable heroes.
Pet owners, Roger and Anita, live happily in London with their Dalmatians, Pongo and Perdita, stalwart dogs devoted to raising their puppies. Everything is quiet until Anita's former classmate, the monstrous Cruella De Vil, plots to steal the puppies for her new fur coat. The Dalmatians rally all the dogs of London for a daring rescue of the puppies from Cruella and her bumbling henchmen.
